Free Calls to India

Using jaxtr , We can make free phone calls to any where in the world.We would need the internet only for the first time to make a call and then you can use regular phone.

Here is the procedure to make phone call from US to India :-

1. Create a user account for someone in your country (say India) at www.jaxtr.com
2. Add India phone to this account. Before you activate, call them on another line and tell the passcode to activate the added number. They will get a call on the added number and need to enter the passcode.
3. Uncheck the box on Home page that says "Receive calls only from people I approve".
4. Logout
5. Access the url created above. i.e. if user name is "tester", the url is www.jaxtr.com/tester
6. Click on Call me free. Provide your US number. It will call you first and then to India number. When the call is ended you will get a US long distance number(Chicago area code 773) that you can use for further calls. i.e. dialing a US long distance number connects you to India.


Unlimited Calling Indian Cell Phone From US @ Zero Cents :-


(1) Create a Login. Select India and Type the Indian Cell Phone Number and Enter the Confirmation Code.

Enter the 2 digit Confirmation Code in the Indian Cell phone and make sure that the Number gets activated successfully. (jaxtr right now works only with indian cell phone and not with Land Lines in india)

Uncheck the checkbox in the "Receive calls only from people I approve" item in the Home Menu.


(2) Repeat the above steps for the another new login for a US Cell phone.

(3) Save the Email Addresses for the above Two Accounts in your address book of yahoo or gmail or msn.

(4) Login into the account which activated with US cell phone. Click on "Friends" Menu and Click "Find your friends on jaxtr". Login into the Account which contains the 2 EMail Addresses which are saved in Address book (as in step 3)


Then Click "view jaxtr links of friends". You will see the jaxtr link of your friend in "Friends on jaxtr" menu.

Click on the link for your friend (which is related to indian cell phone number) and Select US and enter the US number. AFter calling, 10 digit US cell phone will be created and it will be displayed . After that call the 10 digit number connects to the indian cell phone number directly.
